The Running Physio:

Lee Shimwell, BSc (Hons), MSc, MCSP, HPCP

Lee is a runner through and through. He has run for Calder Valley Fell Runners since 2002 and completed classic events such as the Bob Graham round, most of the British classic fell races at least once and several trail races in Europe including the World Masters in Italy.

Lee has huge amounts of Physio experience dealing with runners of all abilities and understands how frustrating injury can be.

 

So don't let injury get in the way of what you love

 

Lee graduated in Physiotherapy from Bradford University in 2000. He has extensive experience working within NHS musculoskeletal clinics in both the community and within orthopaedic hospital settings and is currently at the highest clinical level. He is a member of the highly regarded ‘Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) and has completed an Masters Degree in Manual Therapy at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2016

He has expertise in treating any part of the body but, as a keen runner with Calder Valley Fell Runners club, has an interest in lower limb injuries, kneecap pain and running acquired injuries.
